GoToSocial is a lightweight ActivityPub social network server so communities can run a smaller Fediverse node without the footprint of a full Mastodon stack.

The Go footprint suits smaller hosts and single-operator nodes that want federation without a full Mastodon stack. Source is on Codeberg. Operators trade some Mastodon-era feature breadth for a leaner runtime and clearer resource bounds.
